HAWAII ISLAND CHARITY WALK
Charity Walk at Wailkoloa Beach Resort, Queen’s Marketplace, May 13, 2023.
Laura Jim and 4 HPA students hosted a sea turtle research and conservation booth at the Charity Walk on Saturday. They set up around 0630 and answered questions about Hawaiian sea turtle conservation and research through the eyes of the HPA Sea Turtle Research Program. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of runners and walkers participating and raising money for Hawaii Island Charities. A big Mahalo to Laura and her team of students for supporting this wonderful fund raising event.
