The HPA STRP Program’s director Laura Jim, Robin Scarth and three HPA student volunteers Joined the Mauna Lani Auberge Resort’s team to educate the public about Hawaiian sea turtle biology, ecology and conservation by hosting an informational booth on July 4th. While there were no turtles being released that day, the crowd was sizable and enthusiastic and the HPA STRP team was busy. The HPA students did a wonderful job explaining about sea turtles and conservation issues and I thank them very much for their time and effort.
