Fifth Hawaii Pacific University sea turtle workshop
Greetings To All, Near & Far– We are Proud and Pleased to announce that Registration is Now Open for the 5th Annual HPU Sea Turtle Workshop to be convened on Friday October 10th at HPU’s Aloha Tower Marketplace Campus in downtown Honolulu. Here is the Registration Link-
Registration, as in past years, is fast, free and easy. Please note that the Zoom option is mainly for attendees that don’t live on the Island of Oahu. For Oahu people, we are keen to see you in person, in keeping with past HPU sea turtle workshops where socializing as a local community was part of the fun of ‘talking turtle’.
So, please join us for A Day of Exploring the Amazing TransPacific World of Loggerhead Turtles in a Changing Ocean from Japan to North America and Return.
Here is our outstanding lineup of speakers for this year’s theme- “Loggerheads of the North Pacific- The 5th Annual Hawai’i Pacific University Sea Turtle Workshop & STRETCH International Mid-Point Team Meeting”
Please browse the STRETCH website to learn about this creative, dynamic and highly successful 5-year project based out of Stanford University under the leadership of Professor Larry Crowder with team partners from Mexico, California, Oregon, New Zealand, Hawaii, Japan, and France-
Also, please see the message below (after the list of speakers) that we sent in July first announcing a workshop on North Pacific loggerhead sea turtles.
