In January of 2024 the HPA STRP took two students to Moso Island, Vanuatu to participate in our 5th trip to deploy satellite tags on post-nesting hawksbill turtles. We successfully tagged 3 healthy hawksbill turtles and they have made their way back to their home foraging grounds. This video shows the activities during the very successful trip.
The HPA SCUBA Club and Student Activity Program took 15 students to participate in the Kona Manta Ray Dive on May 11, 2024. The evening was beautiful and there were an estimated 15 manta rays that visited during the dive!
